I just bought flour at Smith's case lot sale. I believe it was a 6 or 8 pack. Ben gave me a funny face but I just reminded him that it was a long term thing. Anyways, I was wondering should I open them all and put in a bucket or just put the packs in a plastic bin? I am leaning on the plastic bin but thought I'd ask.
Thanks, Marianne

I just leave them in the packs and then in a rubbermaid tote, and date them.but I use flour allot.
I agree with annette, if you are worried about bugs just put them in a plastic garbage bag inside the tote and rubberband or tie the bag. I am sure that would help.
I just bought the 5 gallon buckets at Wal-mart and put all my flour and sugar and rice in...then I got the gamma seal lids so that I can get into them easy. I love the convienece of just dipping into them. The buckets were only $3.88 at Wal-mart and the lids were $5.88, I thought it was worth the price.
